The correct answer would be B only because due to high humidity, particles would be closer to each other, which would cause the soundwave to propagate more easily, as it travels fastest in solids. Though the reason is correct in itself it is not the the proper reason for the assertion as the correct reason should be due to the closeness of the particles.
