Why will it be D? It should be C, because the Vaseline blocks the stomata of the leaves, and thus blocks the surface for transpiration, so water droplets will not appear on those leaves, but the uncovered leaves were not stained or covered with anything, so the transpiration process in those leaves should stay normal.
