Here, we can see that there are 4 beakers of same length but different widths. So, we can conclude that the widest beaker (beaker-2) has the most water as it will have biggest volume, and the least wide beaker (beaker-3) has the least water as it will have lower volume. Now, when 100 gm of ice is added to all the beakers, ofcourse the beaker with the least volume will cool down first as heat exchange will be least. Now let's see the statements: A- No, beaker-2 has the most water making bigger heat exchange hence it would take most time to cool down. B- No, there is very less water for heat exchange hence ice will melt very late in beaker-2. C- No, there are different amounts of water in all beakers so this is incorrect. D- Yes, it has the least water hence it will cool down fast and more. Correct answer- D.
